The vision of the Trees of Knowledge Foundation
is to create a model for change beginning with
individual lives which in turn impacts families, their
communities and eventually the society in which
they live. It begins by providing opportunities for
people to be educated and obtain job skills in their
home community. We envision community learning
centers as gathering places where children and
adults can receive direction, love and encouragement
in participating in the classes and curriculums
offered in each specific community. Curriculums
will range from reading, writing and math basics to
long distance learning with the possibility to earn a
college degree. We envision programs geared to fast track
job training skills relevant to the communities
where individuals reside.
By providing local education, local job opportunities
will follow which will help families to stay together
and provide opportunities for a better quality of life.
All of this will open the door to a relationship with
Christ. This is the goal and purpose of The Trees
of Knowledge Foundation. |
